Abstract
Provides an overview of current thinking on tactical communication. With support and emphasis from the highest levels of the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Department of Army (DA), a new attitude is being formed. The United States Army Training and Doctrine Command, at Fort Monroe, VA; and theU nited States Army ateriel Development and Readiness Command, at Alexandria, VA, are cooperating in a joint venture to assure that appropriate communications equipment will be available when it is needed to support the new AirLand Battle doctrine.
