Abstract :
The velocity television reproduction system described in this paper uses a combination of standard video principles for image pickup and velocity-modulation methods for picture reproduction. An analysis is presented which indicates the response of the system to a general video signal. It is shown that one form of presentation imparts a three-dimensional appearance to the image. Photographs are presented of standard broadcast television images reproduced on a conventional receiver converted to velocity-modulation reproduction.
