Abstract :
Based on the current situation of quality of continuous casting billet and the influence factors in casting, this paper introduces “Cloud Manufacturing” which is applied to control quality of casting blank and submits the way which is that process parameters and the conditions are optimized and synthesized in the process of continuous casting to realize virtual map of reality, construction of cloud manufacturing technology platform and so on of slab quality control in continuous casting is explored meanwhile, casting billet quality control platform of cloud manufacturing technology is a new concept, which can realize the cloud manufacturing control over the quality of continuous casting and share resources, reduce the quality issues of casting and the cost of production.
