Abstract :
Digital equipments can emit unintentional signals that allow eavesdroppers to reconstruct processed data at a distance, causing electromagnetic information leakage. The anti-radiation approach is more prevalent for the research focuses more on the phenomenon at present. The essence was revealed in the paper, that data of Hamming distance leads to electromagnetic information leakage. The abstract model of electromagnetic radiation is built based on Hamming distance. By correlation analyzing between data and electromagnetic radiation or electromagnetic information leakage, the view is put forward that the constant or the minimum of data of Hamming distance results in that the constant of electromagnetic radiation variation or the minimum of electromagnetic radiation intensity, which may maximize the difficulty in interception. Through case analysis, it is pointed that the electromagnetic information leakage could be prevented or reduced by adjusting the data of Hamming distance. The intention of this method is anti-intercept, distinguishing from anti-radiation.
