  • Abstract
Sustainable computing provides different approaches towards design and verification of energy-sustainable computing in Cyber-physical system (CPS). A major issue is how to design energy management strategy for ensuring the sustainability of energy computing while the computation processes and physical processes are continued to interact in CPS. To solve this problem, one solution is to modeling the energy management strategy as the balance between power produced by renewable resources and power demand of workload. In this paper, the energy management of lunar rover system is taken as an example, and a dynamic power balance strategy (DPBS) for energy-sustainable CPS system is proposed to keep balance among the output power of solar cell array (SCA), the state of charge (SOC) of battery and the power demand of workload. The DPBS can coordinate the work mode of workload and batteries, and ensure the sustainability of energy computing for lunar rover energy management.
