Abstract :
A fully on-chip transformer-based feedback CMOS power oscillator is presented. Using only one on-chip transformer to reduce Si substrate loss of RF feedback, matching and bias networks, a maximum DC-to-RF conversion efficiency of ~66% with an output RF power of ~15.33 dBm and a phase noise of ~-113 dBc/Hz at 100 kHz offset from carrier 2.45 GHz is achieved
