Abstract :
Provides new techniques to give simple estimates of the eigenvalues of a matrix. In some cases the new results, Theorems 1 and 2, improve those obtained by Gershgorin´s theorem. The additional use of Theorems 3 and 4, give less conservative estimates than those using Gershgorin´s theorem alone
