Abstract
The standard capacitive switch has electrodes arranged in the sensor head that form a measurement capacity The field mainly of spherical or semi spherical nature is influenced by the proximity of material with a dielectric constant >1. This alteration of capacity is converted to a signal that can be evaluated, by a special oscillator circuit.
