    The authors reply to comments on their paper (see ibid., vol.31, no.1, 1995) by D.W. Zipse. They point out that it is true that the Dissipation Array System (DAS) is a controversial subject, but that it is not difficult to obtain factual information, as it is readily available in both the technical and historical areas. The authors discuss the DAS concept, its investigation/testing, and references to other work
