Abstract :
Thin films of off-stoichiometric NdBaCuO (NBCO) and Ca-doped NdBaCuO were grown on (10 mm)2 strontium titanate substrates by pulsed laser deposition. The statistical methods of Experimental Design and regression analysis were used to correlate the electrical and morphological properties with the growth parameters. The surface morphology of the films was studied using atomic force microscopy and scanning tunnelling microscopy.
