Abstract
We have predicted the behavior of magnetic screening of N/I/S trilayers as a function of a single parameter W that parameterizes the discontinuity of the order parameter at the interface. We have compared these calculations with experimental measurements of the temperature (10 K to 1.5 K) dependence of the magnetic screening for several Nb/NbO/Al trilayers and excellent agreement between the predictions and measurements is observed. This agreement provides further understanding of the proximity effect when characterizing the N/S interface in many devices.
