Abstract :
A planar integrated w-band microstrip high order frequency multiplier is presented. The active device is an avalanche diode operating in its high order frequency multiplication mode. For measurement and tuning purposes, the multiplier circuits are mounted in a cavity mesa and tuned by a top column stub. Output power of 5.78 MW has been obtained at output frequency of 94.5 GHz with 15th multiplication order and the phase noise is 90.83 and 95.67 dBc/Hz at 10 and 100 khz offset. good results at other multiplication orders are also observed.
