Abstract :
Feedback input-output linearization is considered in this paper. The main result provides the necessary and sufficient conditions to determine the largest dimension of a linear subsystem achievable by a suitable coordinate change after an input-output linearization feedback has been applied. A systematic method to find the desired coordinate change is also given in this paper
