Abstract :
A transmission line based transformer (TLBT) is described. It is shown that some topologies of transmission line elements imply transformer-like behaviour of the total arrangement. The expected application of the TLBT is in systems in which matching is required, for high frequency waveforms or for narrow pulse applications
