Abstract
The evapotranspiration of Hutubi county on April 22, June 9, Aug.28 and Oct.15, 2013 were estimated using Landsat8 data and meteorological observations including temperature, wind speed, sunshine hours, etc. based on SEBS model. According to the evapotranspiration distribution of Hutubi, the paper analyzed the evapotranspiration changes of the vegetation growing season. After corresponding tests, the results show that the accuracy of SEBS model is adequate in estimating the evapotranspiration of Arid and semi-arid areas. It can be applied to estimate daily evapotranspiration on a regional scale.
