Abstract :
The software engineering and systems engineering communities are establishing methods for capturing, specifying, and managing requirements. The cultural differences exist between the two. Requirements work is too important to be pioneered by a mainstream software-centric or -ignorant viewpoint. Each community must continue to learn from the other for our understanding of the requirements engineering discipline to continue to grow.
