EMC standards activity

Two key international EMC meetings that deal with EMC standards have happened since the last EMC Society Symposium. We start with remarks on the standards activity at the IEC/CISPR meeting held in Seoul, Korea last October that was sponsored by KATS (Korean Agency for Technology and Standards). This was the annual meeting of CISPR where subcommittees, working groups and the plenary conducted business. Seventy six attended from twenty two countries. The meeting was chaired by Don Heirman (USA) with support from the secretary Stephen Colclough (UK) and the Central Office technical officer — Pierre Sebellin.
