Announcing a new technical committee: TC 7 — Low frequency EMC

Low frequency EMC related to conducted phenomena has been of great importance for the function of electrical systems. Awareness of low frequency EMC is growing along with the increased use of electronics for control and power conversion in various applications. In November 2011, the EMC Society Board of Directors voted to approve the formation of TC 7 Low Frequency EMC. The TC 7 was then replacing the special committee SC 2 on Low Frequency EMC established in July 2010.
