  • Abstract
    A computationally efficient algorithm for determining the radiation characteristics of an infinite periodic array of bent thin wire radiators is presented. Each radiator may comprise several wire segments to form a junction. Analysis is carried out for an infinite periodic array covered with multiple dielectric layers. The array lattice may be rectangular or triangular. The capability of handling dielectric layers over the array is added by using a mixed potential approach. The resulting integral equation is solved by the method of moments with sub-domain basis functions. Acceleration techniques are employed to speed up the convergence of a doubly infinite periodic Green´s function. Numerical results are presented for dipole arrays with and without dielectric loading.
