Abstract :
This paper reviews distortions present in the received digital terrestrial television signals and presents a measurement campaign for the development of suitable RF channel models. These are necessary for the development of demodulator devices that are well optimised for high performance at low cost, since the performance of synchronisation and equalisation sub-systems are critically dependent on the distortions in the channel
