  • Abstract
For all of Hollywood´s inventiveness, there is probably only one instance of a major movie that bumps off characters by paper. And neither Freddie Kruger nor Jason is involved. The death deliverer is Monty Python alumnus Terry Gilliam. In his 1985 film Brazil, paper is everywhere and the message is that the bureaucracy it represents really can kill you.
