Scanning the Institute

Robotics as a total manufacturing process will be the subject of the IEEE´s second continuing education teleconference, to be broadcast on Dec. 7 to an expected 1000 to 1500 persons in various sites nationwide. The five-hour course, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, will feature four speakers: James Albus of the National Bureau of Standards; Maurice Dunn of Unimation, Danbury, Conn.; Michael Radeke, of Cincinnati Milacron Inc., of Ohio; and Thomas Sheridan, of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge.
