Abstract :
Binary sequences having good aperiodic autocorrelation functions (ACFs) with low sidelobes have found many applications. However, few good binary sequences are available for large sequence lengths. Apart from the well-known Barker sequences, the best possible sequences up to a length of 48 have been obtained essentially by an exhaustive search. The authors present binary sequences up to a length of 100 with good aperiodic ACFs, derived via a neural network approach
