Abstract
Toward the end of the 1995 fall semester at Indiana University´s Kokomo (IUK) campus, we formed a team to develop a multimedia system for an upcoming 1996 art gallery exhibit of works inspired by Dante´s Divine Comedy. The authors review the development process, thus providing some useful insights, including warning you away from what they call the seven deadly sins of multimedia development. As Dante hoped to enlighten readers more than 700 years ago, they attempt to show multimedia developers how to avoid some of the unsavory traps awaiting them
