Abstract :
Jeremy Roche started his career as an IBM industrial trainee. He worked as a systems engineer on IBM mainframes, before moving into software and joining Science Systems. He has risen through the ranks of what is now CODASciSys, and now has a place on the parent company´s board. In October 2005, Roche became the first chairman of the European Software Association. Information Professional asked him what he had learned about developing a software business in the UK, and what can be done to promote the industry in Europe. Interviewer: Luke Collins.
