Abstract :
This paper is concerned with the macromodeling of a “switch” which is important from the point of view of the SPICE simulation of DC-DC power converters, switching mode power supplies and power electronic circuits. In this paper, some new macromodels of switches are introduced which are simpler and allow faster simulation times than a previously known model. The underlying principle and the mechanism of the proposed models has been explained in a manner suitable for educational purposes
