Abstract :
The Channel Tunnel Project is currently the largest construction project in Europe. Its objective is to create a fixed-link transportation system between the UK and France. Here, the author describes how the development of its power system has basically been the application of well proven and reliable technology to meet the specific and unique requirements of this project
