Abstract :
The Fourth National Standardization Bulletin of the American Mining Congress has just been published. The bulletin contains a comprehensive report on standardizing mining methods, practise and equipment in coal and metal mines. The following subjects are covered: timbering, drainage, underground transportation, mechanical loading, firefighting equipment, drill steel, mining and loading equipment.
