M.I. Pupin [AIEE president]

Summary form only given, as follows. Doctor Michael I. Pupin, recently elected president of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers (AIEE) for the year beginning August 1, 1925, is the second engineer to have attained the office of president of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers and president of the Institute of Radio Engineers. Doctor Pupin was president of the latter Institute in the year 1917. The other AIEE president who served as president of the Institute of Radio Engineers is Dr. A.E. Kennelly. He was at the head of the AIEE in 1898-1900, and of the IRE in 1916.
