Abstract :
This paper shows the application of planar antenna arrays employing large bandwidths in the millimeter-wave and low terahertz frequency region. Considerations on the design of such array systems, i.e. the arrangement of the antenna elements and the image reconstruction process are presented. Measurement scenarios for security screening and nondestructive testing (NDT) are investigated.
