Abstract :
Researchers in Australia have reported the use of a high temperature superconducting resistive superconducting quantum interference device (HTS R-SQUID) for the first time as a self-pumped mixer in the GHz frequency range. This opens the way for potential innovations in wireless receiver technology, where many HTS passive components with superior performance have already been employed.
