  • Abstract
    A magnetostrictive delay line set-up for the detection of acceleration, requiring no excitation means, is demonstrated in this paper. Experimental results indicate a sensitive response and absence of hysteresis, allowing a good level of uncertainty. Sensor characteristics are also discussed, in order to allow practically applicable arrangements
