Armature copper losses in rotary converters and double-current generators

This paper deals with the calculation of the coppir losses in an armature carrying both continuous and sinusoidal current, and conversely the calculation of the output of such a double-current machine (as for instance a rotary converter) in terms of the output as a continuous-current machine for equal total armature copper losses.
