Abstract :
We have measured the DC permeability of feebly magnetic materials by a special waveform of magnetizing field. As the signal is processed in AC mode, the drift and input impedance loading effects of an analog integrator can be avoided. The rapid magnetization change enhances the induced signal. The measured permeability of stainless steels shows no dependence on the frequency of special waveform
