  • Abstract
WHAT\´S THE most important thing in an inventor\´s arsenal? A screwdriver? A soldering iron? A patent lawyer? No - it must surely be a sticking plaster. Everyone gets the odd cut and graze from time to time when fiddling around with things, and the sticking plaster enables us to mop up and carry on after minor accidents. It might seem like a humble thing but, of course, there\´s a great engineer behind it. When I say "great engineer", you could also justifiably write "a bored executive and his catastrophically clumsy wife", and some boys in woggles.
