Abstract :
The polarimetric properties of so-called Dense Multipath Components (DMC) are investigated in various outdoor and indoor environments, relying on broadband measurements and Ray-Tracing (RT) simulations. The ultimate goal is to parameterize a heuristic Diffuse Scattering model to be embedded in RT tools, in order to reproduce the experimentally observed cross-polar discrimination (XPD) characteristics.
