Abstract :
Recently, major changes have been introduced in the NeQuick2 model including the plasmasphere formulation of IRI-Plas model. Both NeQuick2 and IRI-Plas global models are aimed at generation of 3-D electron density profile, Ne(height, latitude, longitude). Details of merging the both models above the topside half-peak density height (relevant to O+/H+ transition height) are given in the paper.
