Abstract :
For the first time for the simulation of HF radio wave propagation to describe the inhomogeneous anisotropic media, we used a global numerical model of the thermosphere-ionosphere system. It is shown that the calculation results adequately describe the HF radio paths in the Earth´s ionosphere in quiet conditions and during geomagnetic storm.
