Abstract :
Microdischarges have drawn much attention in plasma research in recent years. Extreme operating conditions, such as high pressure, high current density, and rapid variation of plasma parameters lead to challenging problems in plasma diagnostics. Here, we demonstrate that imaging in microplasma research opens a direct way to gain knowledge about discharge dynamics.
