Abstract :
The sensitivity of man´s hearing system has developed almost to the theoretical maximum. Any further improvement would result in hearing a continuous noise from the Brownian motion of the air molecules. Because of the hearing system´s high sensitivity, we can detect the disturbances created by almost anything that moves through air
