Abstract :
The distribution of current and of the magnetic field inside a conductor of rectangular cross-section has been obtained by a numerical solution of a pair of surface integral equations. A universal diagram of resistance against frequency is provided for various aspect ratios of conducting strips. The limiting behaviour of resistance for very high frequencies is also discussed
