  • Abstract
The experimental results of detailed search on pulsed-periodical spark generator (PPSG) forming nonequilibrium plasma clouds fast moving by itself from the source to a target are presented. Pin-to-ring PPSG works at atmospheric pressure under repetition frequency of self-running pulsations of 3-30 Hz and activates an object to be treated with intensive flashes of UV radiation and plasma clouds at high transient temperature. The observations performed allow us to distinguish in each period of the relaxation oscillations three stages in activation of a target. Conjoint action of different agents at three stages provides synergy effect in a modification or bioinactivation of the surface to be treated.
