Abstract :
A less invasive method for supplying light power to implant devices, we propose a new wireless energy source that employs a near-infrared laser with a photovoltaic cell. The system can also be used with a rechargeable battery. We discuss the configuration of the system, show its energy transfer efficiency, and discuss its performance during some basic experiments.
