Abstract
This paper firstly describes the current situation of China´s catering industry and selected 9 indicators from 30 provinces in China to analyze the influencing factors of China´s catering industry. Then the factor composite scores are calculated to evaluate the catering industry of each province. The results show that the development of China´s catering industry is influenced by management ability, economic development and brand ability; The management ability exerts the greatest influences on the catering industry and the influence of the brand ability is the weakest. It is also illustrated that there is a large gap between provinces; The comprehensive strength of Beijing is the highest and that of Tibet is the lowest. Some suggestions are proposed for the development of China´s carting industry in the final part.
