Abstract
With the employees of private electronic manufacturing enterprises as the respondents, a conceptual model of the relationship between compensation satisfaction and slack work is built and four hypotheses based on the model are proposed. Through the factor analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis of the questionnaire data, the conclusions show that there is a negative correlation between the five dimensions of compensation satisfaction and slack work respectively. Compensation fairness and welfare policy show more significant impact on slack work, while the dimensions that show more significant impact on slack work will be different when considering different personnel categories, educational backgrounds and age groups. Measures for pre-controlling employees´ slack behavior are proposed accordingly in order to reduce the probability of employees´ slack behavior and improve the operational efficiency of private electronic manufacturing enterprises.
