Abstract :
The basic cockpit layout was evolved in the days of the biplane and low-powered flights. Modern combat flight takes place at high speed in high-technology aircraft, making greater and sometimes impossible demands on the pilot´s data-assimilation capabilities. The all-electronic cockpit is being developed to overcome this problem
