2010 Rayleigh Award of the IEEE Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control Society - F. Stuart Foster

PROFESSOR F. STUART FOSTER (M\´90??SM\´95) is the 10th recipient of the IEEE Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control Society Rayleigh Award. The award was presented during ceremonies at the 2010 IEEE International Ultrasonics Symposium in San Diego, California, on October 12th, 2010. The laudation was given by Professor Peter N. Burns (Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, University of Toronto, Canada). Dr. Foster\´s award citation reads: "For outstanding technical contribution to the field of high frequency ultrasound, especially applications to small animal imaging, and for extensive service to the IEEE UFFC Society."
