The metering of E.H.T. supplies on the secondary side of step-down transformers

The paper deals with a method which could be employed to integrate the input to the primary side of step-down transformers by means of instruments connected in the secondary circuit. Primary maximum demand, both in kW and in kVA, is considered. In the case of the former a means of measurement is suggested, but to obtain the latter a calculation is necessary. Methods at present in use for the measurement of, and charging for, a supply of this kind are dealt with briefly.
