Abstract :
Experience with analog turbine electrohydraulic governor (EHG) systems has led to the development of triplex modular redundant architectures to achieve high availabilities. Subsequent developments with digital systems have continued with this philosophy but have expanded the range of control functions, improved operator interfaces, and resulted in reduced costs. An overview is given of the experience with digital EHG systems
