Abstract :
A method to take into account electromagnetic field sources in a unified way is proposed. It consists in adding residual flux densities or coercive fields, which represent sources, in the constitutive relationship. It can be applied to all static problems. This method leads to a model with homogeneous Maxwell´s equations and boundary conditions. It enables us, for example, to impose easily global quantities such as fluxes, electromotive forces, surface charge, or current densities
